Plant Inspector

To assist and participate in inspecting plant stationary equipment as assigned, including pressure vessels, columns, drums, heat exchangers, boilers, coolers, tanks, valves and piping systems throughout the plant. Enters equipment, observes conditions and makes preliminary interpretations. Witnesses calibration and servicing of Pressure Relief Valves. Carries out as required non-destructive tests using the required instruments, tools and NDT equipment. Prepares inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and recommendations. Implements computerized inspection management program. Maintains inspection instruments, tools and equipment in proper working conditions. The successful candidate should have Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, plus 2 years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering completed. Or hold a Degree in Engineering Discipline (preferred) together with 6 years experience in Inspection and testing work in a petrochemical or chemical plant. A qualification (API510/570 or equivalent) will be viewed favorably. Good written/spoken English is essential.

Welding Inspector

To conducts and witnesses Company Welding and Welder Procedure Qualification testing and prepare Procedure Qualification Record as per relevant specification and code. Witness Contractor’s Welding Procedure and Welder Qualification tests and approve qualification records. Prepare Welding Procedure Specification and issue to Maintenance Department for execution of work after the approval of QA/QC Engineer. Maintain the file of original Procedure Qualification Record, Welding Procedure Specification, Welder Qualification Record and register for inspection reports. Carry out inspection of all the welding and associated actions in accordance with the approved Welding Procedure Specification, drawings and Company Specification. The successful candidate should have Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, plus 2 years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering completed. Or have a degree in Engineering plus 6 years of Oil and Gas experience in Engineering Inspection, testing, equipment and material is required. A qualification (ASNT, CSWIP, ERS or equivalent) in NDT techniques will be viewed favorably. Good written and spoken English. Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards (ASME, AWS, ASTM, API)

GER-02 Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities to develop business opportunities & progress these into additional revenue streams.
• Oversee Engineers who provide technical support for I.T. requirements within Energy.

(Shell), building a world scale Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) complex in Ras Laffan Industrial City, under an agreement with the state of Qatar. A diversified use of natural gas is emerging, adding a new dimension to traditional uses of gas by converting gas into, amongst other products, a high quality transportation fuel virtually free of sulphur and aromatics. Qatar, with one of the largest reservoirs of gas, has the stated aim to be the GTL capital of the world.

A. Shift Superintendent (Process)
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 10-15 years operational experience in a gas plant refinery, chemical plant.
• Have a proven track record as a shift supervisor and senior panel member, backed up by working experience in some of the main processes of a GTL plant, or an offshore production facility, or a gas treatment plant, or a refinery or petrochemical plants.
• Experience in (pre) commissioning and start-up is an advantage.
• Knowledge of computerized systems for data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity and experience with International Standards, Design & Engineering Practices, Flawless Start-Up and other methodologies such as HSE case, HAZOP, IPF, RCM and RBI.
• Responsible for supervising and leading a shift team. Coordinating with other department executing operation, plan, ensure manpower availability, maintenance activities, assessing root causes and remedies.
• Responsible to develop the training programs and train operators.
• Assist & involve in the Commissioning and start up SU plan.
• Create HSE environment & culture among team members, job safety analysis, PTW & aspects of HSE.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is also essential.
B. Panel Operators
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 8 years Operational experience in large Oil & Gas plants, refinery or petrochemical plants including working with contractors during (pre) commissioning and start-up is preferable.
• Responsible for all aspects of operating the panel for that area and directing a team of operators to ensure the clean, safe, effective and optimal operation of the designated plant and equipment.
• Operation of control panel in a clean, safe, effective and optimal way during mode change, start-up and shut down.
• Able to manage complex interfaces in a very integrated plant, requiring excellent communication capabilities.
• Proven track record in the position of Panel Operator (minimum 3 years), backed up by working experience in any of the following operations:
1. Panel Operators - Feed Gas Preparation

The candidate would have gained reasonable experience in the latest methodologies for Fiscal Metering Systems.
E. Laboratory Technicians
Qualification & Experience:
The candidate should have a Master of Science in Chemistry or equivalent with at least 10 years experience of the Oil & Gas Industry. Working experience & Knowledge of laboratory equipments like ICP, IC, GC-ms, 2D-GC & XRF, analyzer in required. Knowledge of LIMS & QMS is highly desirable.
