Requirements:Our client, an MNC offshore pipeline company, requires a Quality Control Engineer.

• Ensures that Quality Control inspection schedules are adhered to and ensures the availability of quality record documents.
• Supports the Site Manager in dealing with the Client for all the Quality matters.
• Assesses the implementation of quality control plans on the site.
• Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors.
• Evaluates the qualifications of welders and Non Destructive Test-NDT technicians with regard to the activities assigned.
• Evaluates the qualifications of inspection personnel.
• Supports the management and control of subcontractors.
• Supports executes all the internal/external audits.
• Coordinates the relevant tracking systems for correct identification of materials.
• Supervises equipment calibration management activities.
• Supports the welding & NDT qualification activities.
• Supports the issuance of welding procedures.
• Works with the project to analysis non conformities.
• Supervises inspection of defect renewal and welding.
• Checks the completeness and conformity to specified applicable requirements, standards and/or directives.
• Supports event reporting and the implementation of relative corrective actions.
• Ensures that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out and that personnel have access to all required project documentation.
• Monitors the progress of quality-related site activities.
• Supports coaching on the awareness of quality to site personnel
• Supports the update of site quality control plans / control procedures.
• Applicants with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a marine fabrication yard will be preferred.
• Some traveling in the region is required.
